My climbing partner has the black diamond nuts and I have these. Between the two, I think I prefer the DMM shape. They just seem more secure more often than the BD ones. Also- had a friend whip on the 11 and it held! Climb on!great product and reliable for the price..something i can say i trust my life with.. literally!!best nuts i have ever climbed on way better than the bds and very easy to remove i havnt had to use a nut tool on them in a yearPurchased as a gift but was told they worked perfectI am very happy with this purchase I will buy more.Fit amazingly...Just got these and have already started playing around with them, most recently during a toprope session where I used them to build anchors. I believe that these are the best in the classic style of nuts (I have not used offsets yet), with the divot in the center of larger pieces which greatly helps in placing them to get that "bomber" feel you want to have, plus I got them at a very reasonable price. I would trust BD gear, but their nuts have a somewhat cheap feel to them, whereas these stick and feel secure. I got the 1-11 set since, if you're like me, you will be finding occasions to place sometimes place a 4, and more often the 5 and 6, but I got these at a discounted price around $87 I believe, and I see the price has gone back up. They are not light, but I do not expect nuts to be. From now on I will only be going to DMM for passive protection after stellar reviews of their gear and firsthand experience with their classic nut design. Will have to pick up some offsets too soon!
