Rugged neoprene coating offers flexibility and wear resistance ensuring long life and dependability. 1/4" x 36" long yellow, blue, and red hoses feature 1/4" female flare fittings, with a valve core depressor and 45° bend on one end for convenient access to the system. Coupler nuts feature deep knurling for a positive grip that enables quick finger-tightening. Hose ends feature a strong six-sided crimp that provides a secure, reliable connection between the hose and barb - even at maximum pressure. I replaced the hoses on my inexpensive gauge set because they were too stiff and constantly twisting up or slightly undoing the ends every time I moved the gauges around even a little. These are a professional quality hose set that works better than the originals and sold for a price that won't break your bank. Maybe if you were using the gauges every day you might justify spending the big bucks for Yellow Jacket hoses or similar but iIf you are like me and only need the gauges occasionally, but want them to work right when you use them, these hoses are a great choice. Good quality machining on the brass ends; nice sealing gaskets, not too stiff. I'm pleased that I made the change.
