I cracked my 16 and 18 Zildjian L80 cymbals. Since replacing them would have been costly, I purchased this pack. I knew some Stagg dealers back in the day, and I felt fairly comfortable purchasing the set. Crashes and ride sound fairly good. The hihats are "meh." The only problem is that the cymbals, especially crashes are way louder than the L80s. This may not be a big deal for folks playing the set in a basement or garage, but it's too loud for apartment playing. So, I stuck some moongels on the crashes which helped, but if folks are looking for the quietness of L80 cymbals, this set isn't it. However, if you don't want to go broke buying L80s and are in a space where volume isn't an issue, I definitely recommend this set.
